4. How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you register, complete our application, upload documents, fund your account, trade, answer surveys, send feedback or contact us. We also collect information through our trading platform, automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website and platforms, and from third parties such as identity-verification providers, fraud-prevention and sanctions-screening services, payment processors and publicly available sources.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:

6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of our contract with you; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests in running a secure and efficient business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and your consent, for example for optional marketing or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. Your data is accessible only to you, Mundo-FX and authorised personnel, and we share it only where necessary with:
- Service providers who support our business, such as identity verification, cloud hosting, customer-support, analytics and communications providers, bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Payment service providers, banks and card schemes to process your transactions.
- Liquidity providers and execution venues, to the extent required to execute your orders.
- Professional advisers such as auditors, lawyers and insurers.

Apart from the cases listed above, we do not share your data with third parties without your consent unless the law requires it.
8. International Transfers
Because we serve clients globally and use service providers in different countries, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you live. Those countries may have different data-protection standards. Where we transfer data, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, including contractual safeguards with recipients.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is open and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting requirements—typically at least five to seven years after the end of our relationship for AML and transaction records. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it securely.
10. How We Protect Your Information
We implement stringent technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit, access controls based on job role, two-factor authentication for client and staff accounts, network monitoring and regular security reviews. We may store and process your data on local servers and storage media. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security: Mundo-FX is not liable for data breaches, fraud or hacking incidents beyond our control. Keep your login details confidential and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to identify users, keep you logged in, remember your preferences, secure the site, improve its functionality and understand how it is used. Some third-party features, such as embedded market-data charts and maps, may set their own cookies. You have the right to manage your cookie settings: you can control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
